The news is official and was reported by the GdF itself, which writes that it has 223 people identified and reported to the Judicial Authority responsible for purchasing pirated subscriptions on the internet that allowed you to view the contents of the main pay TV platforms. The identification of the people who would have illegally seen films, series and sporting events took place following a long and complex investigative activity carried out by the GdF.

Clients at risk of high penalties: 223 identified and reported

The activity, carried out specifically by the Special Goods and Services Unit of the Guardia di Finanza, led to the identification of several subjects responsible for conducting the offense: of these, 223 have already been reported to the competent judicial authority, but we aim to proceed to identify further possible subjects involved.

By purchasing subscriptions of this type, in fact, customers make themselves responsible for receiving stolen goods and, in these cases, the law provides for the confiscation of the tools used for the use of the service.
