8-core Coffee Lake-S in Cinebench test

Intel is not going to give up in the fight for cores. We already knew about the emergence of the 8-core processor from the Coffee Lake-S consumer family, but only now its performance has shown to the world. Obviously from an unofficial leak.

If you follow our news carefully, you will certainly not miss the strange, blurred position on the screenshot from the test of the mighty Threadripper 2990X. Now it turned out that under the specific censorship there was none other than the aforementioned 8-core Intel processor. This one, in an early engineering version, was tested in the Cinebench benchmark and in the performance test in Ashes of the Singularity.

However, the above results do not reflect the full performance of this processor. All because the clock is too low, here only 3.0 GHz. The performance shown is impressive anyway, because the chip in the multi-threaded Cinebench test beat the much better (in terms of specifications) Core i9-7900X.
