Acer's new monitor reaches 300Hz with 1440p resolution

Acer announced a new gaming monitor. It is a 27 ′ monitor and a 300MHz refresh rate. What will set it apart from the competition is its resolution, as most current 300MHz monitors usually sacrifice screen resolution to reach that frequency. Nevertheless, The new Acer Nitro XV272U KF will have a resolution of 1440p instead of the 1080p of its competitors. Of course this will be reflected in the price. Despite the fact that Acer’s Nitro line is associated with tight budgets, the new monitor has an MSRP of $ 1099.

Among the specifications of the new Acer Nitro XV272U KF gaming monitor, in addition to the 1440p resolution at 300MHz, a response time of 0.5ms and a screen with very thin edges stand out. This monitor does not support G-Sync but does support Freesync Premium. Also has Display HDR 600 certification and Acer claims 90% DCI-P3 coverage. The XV272U KF has an IPS panel with an adjustable stand and includes Acer Vision Care 3.0 software. Included with this software are features such as Acer LightSense (adjusts screen brightness based on ambient light) and Acer Display Widget (lets you automatically adjust color and arrange windows in 11 preset settings). Finally, Acer did not give information on the brightness of this monitor so far.

The new Acer Nitro XV272U KF gaming monitor will launch in North America in November for the price of $ 1099.
