It comes in 2 types of capacities from 500GB to 1TB in a 2.5-inch form factor. With dimensions of 100.45 x 69.85 x 7mm and weighing 47.5 grams it gets a 6 Gb / s SATA interface, Its working temperature ranges from 0 to 70 degrees and a standby temperature of -40 to +85 degrees respectively. It has a shock resistance of 1500 G / 0.5 ms and has a 2,000,000 hour MTBF with a 3-year limited warranty.
Both models have identical features that only differ in capacity and life. They have a maximum 4K reading of 50,000 IOPS and a maximum 4K writing of 65,000 IOPS with a durability of 100 TB for the half terabyte capacity model and a durability of 200 TB for the model with the maximum capacity.
Its sequential read / write transfer speeds of up to 520/450 megabytes per second and SLC cache support give random write / read speeds of 50k / 65k per second which is the equivalent of 2.5x faster speed than a traditional hard drive, but they are not as fast as other SSDs from other brands.
With the purchase of one of these SSDs, ADATA gives away its software ADATA SSD Toolbox and his Migration utility with which you can monitor the status of the SSD by accessing all the information such as status, remaining useful life and written data, and its migration utility for cloning old hard drives to pass the data to this new SSD.
Greater capacity, greater efficiency and a longer life time with decent speeds.
Although its 3D NAND technology is not specified, it is probably QLC, so we are talking about a type of low cost and high capacity NAND.
All the models integrate the S.M.A.R.T technologies, the TRIM and NCQ command, and also include some data protection and error correction technologies such as Low Density Parity Check or LDPC. This technology is in charge of reducing data errors.
Being an SSD we make sure that it will provide us with great speed, resistance to shocks (thus avoiding damage to our data), during operation and low noise without vibrations.
It is compatible with all current operating systems: Windows, Linux and MacOS and as external storage it has been tested with Xbox, PlayStation and Android, so the compatibility is total, something that not all brands can offer.
At the moment, the retail prices have not been listed, but it is known that they will arrive in Spain at the main retailers and other physical stores. Due to its specifications, its price range should place it in a low price range for these capabilities.
