Adecco, Randstad and Manpower explore blockchain together

The members of the World Employment Confederation (WEC) join forces to take advantage of the opportunities offered by blockchain in the recruitment sector.

6 interim giants and WEC members, namely Adecco, ManpowerGroup, GiGroup, Kelly Services, Randstad and RGF Staffing, announced to collaborate around technology blockchain to reduce friction in the process of connecting job seekers to recruiters.

According to them, DLTs offer unique characteristics in terms of confidentiality and sharing of data. The initiative will thus look into the establishment of a standard allowing transparent and secure sharing of information.

There is now a technological mechanism [blockchain] who can respond effectively to the confidentiality data, to the experience of the worker and the customer and to the control of business challenges of personal data; therefore the definition of a standard is in the interest of all parties, "said a WEC press release.

The 6 recruitment firms believe that the blockchain will provide a "positive and trusting experience" for applicants, workers and employers.
