AMD and Mediatek would be working on a custom SOC with RDNA GPUs

It seems that AMD’s joint work with Samsung on the Exynos 2200 was only the beginning of their collaborations to design mobile SOCs with RDNA GPUs, as they would also be working with Mediatek to launch a new chip that uses an integrated graphics from the red company. .

AMD and Mediatek have already worked on smaller-scale projects in the past, as AMD often licenses some intellectual properties to other manufacturers. For example, AMD recently licensed its RZ608 WiFi chip, which Mediatek renamed to MT7921K when it relaunched it under its brand name, although this new project would be much larger as they would work together to create a SOC with a Mediatek-designed processor and a Integrated graphics card designed by AMD to improve the gaming performance of mid-range phones.
