AMD bundles Battlefield 3 with new graphics cards

The first beta version of Battlefield 3 is gossiping about an extremely heavy-duty game, something that of course the graphics card makers will like. AMD is taking the opportunity and plans to send Battlefield 3 to new graphics cards – mainly the Radeon HD 6870 because the faster variants in the 6900 series are in short supply.

A number of selected models from partner manufacturers include a coupon that can be used on the game service Origin to download the full version of the game, at no (visible) extra cost. Battlefield 3 otherwise costs around SEK 300–400 in Swedish stores.

The downside, however, is that it is not yet known exactly when the campaigns will begin. Possibly this will only happen after Battlefield 3 was launched on October 27 so as not to disrupt the initial sales of the game.
