AMD Ryzen 3 3100: Performance and test results

To be honest, we did not immediately believe in such an alignment. But after several days of careful study of the real possibilities of this device, there was no doubt.
In single-threaded tasks and games, it is still palm the CPU from Intel (and older Ryzens), however, the difference is minimal (3-5 fps).
For gaming, the Ryzen 3 3100 is ideal (especially if you have a 4K monitor and a top-end graphics card at your disposal). Loading it stone in Ghost Recon Wildlands does not exceed 78%, in Rainbow Six Siege – 65%.

Overclocked to 4400 MHz, the Ryzen 3 3100 heats up to 78 degrees, while the voltage does not exceed beyond 1.424 V (Scythe Katana 3 Type I).
Conclusion
AMD has launched a real nugget, which is the best processor in the “under 8000 rubles” category. Even the successful 6-core Core i5-9400F does not look so attractive and in demand against the background of the 4-core Ryzen 3 3100.
Is the Ryzen 3 3100 perfect? Why not. This CPU is capable of unleashing the potential of high-end graphics cards and high-frequency RAM. It overclocks beautifully (and overclocking really gives bear fruit), besides this stone not hot at all.
Intel has a competitor called the Core i3-10100, which, like the Ryzen 3 3100, has 4 cores and 8 threads. We’ll talk about it next time, but for now we strongly recommend that you think about purchasing the reviewed model from AMD. You won’t find a more versatile and balanced solution for just over $100.
