AMD, the new drivers support the Radeon RX 5300M

AMD published the Radeon Software drivers Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.12.1 that introduce support for the new Radeon RX 5300M mobile GPU. Among other novelties we find the troubleshooting that previously were encountered playing with a 1080p RX 5700 GPU with low settings and the crashing solution of The Outer Worlds game.

  • Intermittent desktop crashes may occur with some Radeon RX 5700 graphics products when playing The Outer Worlds.

Known Issues

  • Graphics products in the Radeon RX 5700 series may experience intermittent loss of image or video signal during gameplay.
  • Superimposing performance values ​​can cause screen stuttering or blinking with some applications.
  • Activating HDR can cause system instability while playing when Radeon ReLive is enabled.
  • The Radeon VII may run at high memory frequencies in idle or on the desktop.
  • Overlaying performance values ​​may indicate incorrect use of graphics memory.
  • Recalling Radeon Overlay can cause loss of focus in games or their minimization when HDR is enabled within Windows.
