No, according to what this Slovak firm indicates. All calls are encrypted using SSL and “when possible” technology is used peer-to-peer (which means that the data is transmitted between the two people, without intermediaries).

Gruveo is a service is anonymous since it does not require registrations or logins to use it. All you need is a browser HTML5 (most current browsers are) and if you are on a PC, you must necessarily have a microphone and a camera connected and configured for it to work because, otherwise, when trying to establish the connection nothing will happen.
