The first six NFT works of art by Botto, the Artificial Intelligence Algorithm, have just been sold. This generated them, filtered them, and then allowed the community of people to vote on which works were going to be auctioned.

At least if the human aspect that makes a given work speak for the artist and his experiences or reflections is important to you in the whole of art. This type of “artificial” artist in the form of the Botto algorithm, in turn, is only a tool. Properly trained, knowing the enormity of works of art and human preferences, being able to finish a work not in a few days, months or years, like real artists, but in a few minutes.

However, if you are convinced that our brains do indeed work like organic algorithms, then you should not mind the inorganic variation proposed by the Botto algorithm. Especially since between starting work on his creations and selling them, people came into the game, helping him choose the best creations.

So, Scene Precede was sold at the auction for PLN 1.79 million, Asymmetric Liberation for PLN 1.35 million, and Cross Adieu for PLN 337 thousand (calculated and rounded). In addition to the 15% SuperRare commission, the money from the sale was used to ‘burn’ Botto’s voting tokens, which limits the number in the pool and makes them more and more unique.
