Asetek launches a new liquid cooling system for GPUs that is placed in a PCI-E slot

HD Tecnología

Asetek, the OEM behind Asus' cooling systems, EVGA, NZXT, and more, is always at the forefront of creating new all-in-one liquid cooling systems, and looking to continue its market leadership introduced its new form factor that places the pump and radiator in a PCI-E slot, saving you from having to use cabinet space for the radiator.

Debuting in the Alienware Aurora R11, this new Asetek solution called “Rad Card GPU Cooler” renews the format of the radiator to allow its use with a blower instead of fans, and seeks to aesthetically resemble another graphics card to simulate a dual configuration -GPU. The radiator and the pump are located on this secondary card, and the inlet and outlet pipes connected to the block responsible for extracting the heat from the GPU come out of it.

It is undoubtedly an innovative solution by Asetek, which allows free spaces for fans, and reduces the amount of cables in our system, in addition to allowing our PC to look much more powerful, apparently having two GPUs.

For now this product is exclusive to this pre-assembled Alienware PC, although it could hit the market on other systems or even be sold separately.
