Asus and Noctua launch Geforce RTX 3070 Noctua Edition

When it comes to graphics cards, Asus is highly valued among enthusiasts and often offers unique and powerful special cards. Recently, there have been several reports that Asus has taken the help of Noctua to create a unique cooling solution. As recently as last week, fresh images of creation searched the web. The manufacturers are now officially releasing the graphics card, which will be named Asus Geforce RTX 3070 Noctua Edition.

As the pictures reveal, it is a very brown graphics card in true Noctua spirit. The radiator takes up a full four slots, where the exact thickness lands at 87 millimeters. The fans that are visible are Nocuta’s popular NF-A12x25 in a completely normal design, apart from a lower fan curve to keep the sound level down. Under the fans is a heat sink that has been specially developed by Asus and Noctua for this particular graphics card together with the fans.

Of course, the card also has a semi-passive fan curve that turns off the fans when the temperature drops below 50 degrees. The fan curve can also be adjusted via the GPU Tweak II software to your liking. Finally, the card also has dual BIOS modes where one focuses on higher performance, while the other prioritizes low noise.

The Asus Geforce RTX 3070 Noctua Edition will go on sale in mid-October. The availability is unfortunately unclear, but at least it is not a limited edition. On the other hand, the graphics card has a recommended price of SEK 8,990, but in the usual order, that price rarely matches reality and should be taken with a pinch of salt.
