ASUS Announces TUF Gaming B550-PRO Motherboard for Ryzen 5000 Processors

The Taiwanese company ASUS has expanded its range of motherboards based on the B550 chipset. The new product is called ASUS TUF Gaming B550-PRO. The model is aimed at gaming desktops with AMD processors. The motherboard based on the AMD B550 chipset is designed for use in ATX form factor cases.

The new product supports the installation of AMD Ryzen 5000 processors in the AM4 version. ASUS TUF Gaming B550-PRO can use up to 128 GB of DDR4 RAM with a frequency of 2133 MHz to 4600 MHz. In this case, the capacity of each individual module should not exceed 32 GB

The motherboard is equipped with three PCE Express 3.0 x1 slots for graphics accelerators and expansion cards. In addition, the new items included one PCI Express 4.0 x16 slot and one PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot. For PCIe SSDs, there is a pair of M.2 connectors. In addition, the board has a place for six standard SATA ports.

ASUS TUF Gaming B550-PRO has received a Realtek RTL8125B network controller with a bandwidth of up to 2.5 Gbps. The 7.1 audio subsystem is based on the Realtek ALC S1200A codec. Among the interfaces, it is also worth noting DisplayPort, HDMI, one USB-A and USB-C (USB 3.2 Gen2), USB-A (USB 3.2 Gen1), four USB 2.0 ports, several 3.5 mm audio outputs and S / PDIF.
