Asus Geforce GTX 1080 ROG Strix OC

Interest in Nvidia’s new flagship Geforce GTX 1080 is sky high, to say the least, where the cards barely have time to land on store shelves before performance-hungry enthusiasts get their hands on them. The focus is undeniably on the partner manufacturers’ models, which offer both higher clock frequencies and better cooling solutions than Nvidia’s Founder’s Edition, at a similar or lower price point.

One card that has received a lot of attention is the Taiwanese Asus Geforce GTX 1080 ROG Strix OC, which today has found its way into SweClocker’s test lab. The menu features heavily screwed clock frequencies made of cardboard together with the latest incarnation of the company’s cooling solution DirectCU III – of course complete with sophisticated RGB lighting in all the colors of the rainbow.
