ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14, here is the new variant with Ryzen

After the official presentation at CES in Las Vegas, the ROG Zephyrus notebook G14 begins to peek on the web in an unpublished version with APU Ryzen 9 4900HS, the latter product not yet officially presented by AMD. The new ASUS gaming notebook has been spotted on the Romanian online store altex.ro where 9149 LEI is priced, at the exchange rate around 1900 euros.

Before seeing in detail the whole technical data sheet of the notebook (already known), let's pause for a moment on this interesting APU which, according to what reported, could be an exclusive of ASUS ROG gaming notebooks. More specifically, theAMD Ryzen 9 4900HS, as well as the Ryzen 7 4800HS, would be a custom model with TDP set to 35Wor 10 watts less than the classic AMD Renoir 4000 H-series APU. The Ryzen 9 4900HS offers 8 cores / 16 threads with a base frequency of 3 GHz and Boost up to 4.4 GHz, 200 MHz more than its younger brother Ryzen 7 4800HS.

The rest of the technical specifications do not differ from the first variant announced at CES 2020, starting from the QHD display with dedicated graphics GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q Design, arriving at the memory department he provides 16GB RAM DDR4 3200 MHz is 1TB M.2 SSD storage. In addition to interesting options such as USB 3.2 gen 2, WiFi 6 and Dolby Atmos, the distinctive feature of the ROG Zephyrus G14 is certainly the body of the display that can be customized thanks to a series of LEDs that allow you to view different types of text or images.

At the moment there are no details on the price that the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 could have on the Italian market; a possible inclusion in the price list in the range just above 2000 euros could however be a valid option for those looking for a performance gaming notebook but with a compact design.
