ASUS is preparing to launch a new one on the market high performance gaming monitor, this is the TUF Gaming VG27VH1B, model that among its characteristics can boast the Free-Sync Premium certification, standard announced by AMD at the last CES in Las Vegas.
Recall that to obtain this certification, a monitor must meet the minimum requirements, among these we report a minimum update frequency of 120Hz. The ASUS proposal goes far beyond this value and uses a 27-inch curved VA panel capable of reaching a maximum refresh of 165 Hz.
The display in question offers, among other things, a DCI-P3 coverage of 90% and a response time of 1 ms, while the rest of the features do not shine or, better to say, align with those of other Full-HD monitors of economic range. On the other hand, the ASUS TUF Gaming VG27VH1B offers some optimizations such as ASUS ELMB, Shadow Boost and different GamePlus modes; there are two 2W speakers on board, while for video input we will have two HDMI 2.0 and a classic D-Sub; the monitor does not support connection via Display Port.
At the moment there are no details regarding availability and price, making predictions is quite risky if we consider the current one Coronavirus-related situation and related delays associated with it.
