Binance Exchange has announced that it has added option contracts for Ethereum and, for the first time in the derivatives market, XRP options.

Until now, Deribit has been the main platform for Ethereum options and also the space leader for Bitcoin options with over 75% market share. ETH options were launched in May last year and the open interest is about $ 39 million.

The main players on the crypto derivatives market are Deribit, BitMEX, Binance, OKEx and Poloniex.
Binance has expanded its market share for futures contracts for a variety of cryptocurrencies, and the recently launched ETH and XRP options will contribute to this growth.
