The blockchain project Diana, which was founded on July 19, just one day before the 50th anniversary of the landing of a man on the moon, launched a registry in which he marked and plans to tokenize the surface of the moon.
“The goal of the Diana project is to clearly define the possible rights of mankind to the moon, given the increased likelihood of disputes over property rights. This will be done through collective registration, ”the project representatives stressed.
Note that the second article from the UN treaty is cited in the White Book of the project: “Outer space, including the Moon and other celestial bodies, is not subject to national appropriation by declaring sovereignty, use, occupation or any other means”.
As part of the project on the blockchain of Ethereum, 3.8 billion tokens of two types will be issued: DIA tokens, which are lunar surface tokens, and MOND tokens, fully secured by the US dollar, which will be used for transactions.
Recall that in November last year, the company ConsenSys, engaged in the creation of various applications and services based on the blockchain of Ethereum, acquired the space company Planetary Resources.
