Capcom has already seen the existing profitability when it comes to bringing its games to PC, although this is not really new, and it is that we have gone from being before a Japanese company that only launched its games on console, to later start launching ports in PC of doubtful quality, and end up launching games like Monster Hunter: World or Devil May Cry V or Resident Evil Village that arrived in a more pampered way and have been quite a big success for the company, well, the latter had the famous problem with Denuvo.

Such is the success that Capcom’s chief operating officer, Haruhiro Tsujimoto, indicated that the company’s next steps are for making the PC their main platform in the future, in addition to expecting that during 2022 and 2023 the CP will at least represent 50 percent of all game sales, so the remaining 50% of sales will be divided among all current things.

One of the next titles to arrive will be Monster Hunter Rise, which debuted on the Nintendo Switch a few months ago and will arrive on PC in January 2022, but it seems that the next titles will already put aside the launch of the PC versions months later than on other platforms.
