Font Forge

Font Forge is simply font editing software. This is open source software freely available on the Internet. Let’s see how we can use this to convert WOFF to TTF / OTF format. Please follow the steps below.

Step 1: Open Font Forge by clicking on the shortcut icon. If you don’t have one, download it from here FontForge

Step 2: Now, open the WOFF font file want to change (Go through the path), and click it’s okay.

Step 5: If you get an error message stating that the file should be resized. The message is shown below.

Follow the steps below to change the file size.

1.Click Item> Font Information.

2.Now, click generate tab, change the font size as needed.

Step 6: Once the error has been corrected, go back to File> Generate Fonts and click generate. Conversion takes place.

Step 7: The converted OTF / TTF font file is saved in the same folder as the original WOFF file.

To use the converted font style in your Word document or in any program, you must install it. To do this, follow the steps below.

Paso 1: The right button of the mouse in the generated font file and select Install on pc.

Step 2: Open a Word document to see the new font style in the Fonts Menu.

Step 3: now the right button of the mouse in the ZIP file to extract all the files.

Step 4: Next, open the files folder and right-click anywhere to open Powershell or Command Prompt window.

Step 5: Copy the command given below and paste it into Powershell.

Step 6: Once you hit Enter, the code will run and convert your WOFF file to a TTf / OTF file. The converted file looks in the same folder.
