DLSS 3, here are the first games that will integrate the new technology of NVIDIA

As we have had the opportunity to write by analyzing the novelties of the Ada Lovelace architecture of the new ones GeForce RTX 4000upscaling and AI technologies will have more and more weight in characterizing the performance of video cards in the future.

Il DLSS 3 this is proof of this, and in reviewing the GeForce RTX 4090, we saw how it performs enormously better than native rendering. From today (absolutely theoretically) the rest of the world will also be able to experiment with the new technology, as long as it is equipped with the new generation top of the range.

In fact, NVIDIA has announced the availability of SUPER PEOPLE: Early Access with DLSS 3 supportas well as updates for Loopmancer e il visual showcase Justice “Fuyun Court”. Il October 17 A beta version will become available to members of the Xbox Insider Program Microsoft Flight Simulator with DLSS 3 supportwhile one day later the technology will come up A Plague Tale: Requiem.

In total we talk about over 35 games and applications that will support DLSS 3 over the next few weeks:

  • A Plague Tale: Requiem
  • Atomic Heart
  • Black Myth: Wukong
  • Bright Memory: Infinite
  • Chernobylite
  • Conqueror’s Blade
  • Cyberpunk 2077
  • Dakar Desert Rally
  • Deliver Us Mars
  • Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed
  • Dying Light 2 Stay Human
  • F1 22
  • F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch
  • Frostbite Engine
  • HITMAN 3
  • Hogwarts Legacy
  • ICARUS
  • Jurassic World Evolution 2
  • Justice
  • Loopmancer
  • Marauders
  • Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered
  • Microsoft Flight Simulator
  • Midnight Ghost Hunt
  • Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord
  • Hell: Bladepoint
  • NVIDIA Omniverse
  • NVIDIA Racer RTX
  • PERISH
  • Portal With RTX
  • Reply
  • S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2: Heart of Chornobyl
  • Scathe
  • SUPER PEOPLE
  • Sword and Fairy 7
  • SYNCED
  • The Lord of the Rings: Gollum
  • The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
  • THRONE AND LIBERTY
  • Tower of Fantasy
  • Unity
  • Unreal Engine 4 & 5
  • Warhammer 40,000: Darktide

According to NVIDIA, if a game already supports DLSS 2 technology (renamed DLSS Super Resolution), the process for developers to upgrade to DLSS 3 is pretty straightforward. Not only that, the technology will also be integrated into the main engines – Unity, Unreal Engine and Frostbite Engine – for direct integration at the engine level.

As we explained in the article on Ada Lovelace, DLSS 3 technology gains the so-called “Frame Generation” which allows you to reconstruct up to seven-eighths of the pixels displayed, accelerating performance more markedly than previous versions of DLSS. For this reason, if NVIDIA claims up to 2X performance improvement in “GPU limited” games for DLSS 2 over native rendering, for the DLSS 3 the company speaks of a boost up to 4 times with games with advanced and widespread ray tracing effects.

At the same time, DLSS 3 is defined as beneficial in those titles that weigh on the CPU, areas in which the DLSS 2 manages to impact less: running on the GPU, the DLSS 3 bypasses the bottlenecks of the CPU and increases the frame rate. For example, performance in Microsoft Flight Simulator with DLSS 3 can improve up to 2x compared to native rendering.

Gamers without a GeForce RTX 4000 family video card launching titles with DLSS 3 support will enjoy DLSS Super Resolution (DLSS 2) and Reflex technology, but not the new Frame Generation.
