They are expected to earn a total of $ 100 billion and the market is expected to grow 39% by the end of the year. Average revenue growth of 11.3% compared to the quarter, and SK Hynix gained the most – 20%. This company, along with Samsung and Micron, had a combined 95% market share, which indicates a lot of their dominance.
It is speculated that memory prices should fall back to normal levels by the end of 2018. However, there are trends on the market towards artificial intelligence, which requires a lot of memory to work. Manufacturers are starting to see this and setting up new factories, the question is whether there will be a sudden boom in AI and there will be no DRAM on the market again.
