EA Releases Extensive Statement Regarding Gaming Issues

Electronic Arts published on its official website a very extensive statement related to the problems that the players of Battlefield 2042.

This statement tells us about the performance and stability problems of the servers, the balance of the game, which in many cases is broken, the handling of weapons, or that next December Update # 3 will arrive with more than 150 fixes They affect everything: melee, classes, weapons, vehicles, audio, bots, user interface, game modes, maps, rendering, progression, unlocking, matchmaking, friends and basically everything in general.

It’s only been a few days since our global launch, and there are already millions of people playing Battlefield 2042. We’re excited to see so many of you back on the battlefield, almost double the number on our last release. So first of all thanks to all of you: the way you are playing and what you are creating in the game is amazing and exceeds our expectations. We are also listening carefully to your feedback, which is helping to shape the upcoming updates.

We couldn’t be more passionate about this game and we will support and evolve it for years to come. We’ve confirmed at least two major game updates in the coming weeks, and we’ll be here constantly communicating the changes we’re making, as well as new content coming to Battlefield 2042. Teams around the world are working 24 hours a day to evolve. and offer improvements to the game. Since launch we have made a number of updates to the service that have improved the performance of the servers, as well as the vault and restoration of content that did not conform to our designs.

We also want to reassure you that we are carefully evaluating your desire for legacy features to return. The end-of-match scoreboard, server browser, and features like voice chat are important topics to us, and we have a lot to say about them. We will speak with you again when we have things we can show you, including details on our long-term view of certain features and functions.

Now, let’s focus on what’s to come. On Thursday, November 25, we will deliver the second game update, and at the beginning of December a major third update.
