Snoring may indicate health problems, but it can also be simply bothersome. So Fitbit adds a function that will let us know that we are snoring so that we can do something about it.
Your Fitbit Watch can now let you know if you snore a lot
Already some time ago there were reports that Fitbit is working on adding snoring detection to its sleep monitoring system. Now this feature is being implemented with the help of an update. It’s called Snore & Noise Detect and works on Fitbit Versa 3 and Sense, using the microphones built into the device. The function will be able to distinguish whether you snore lightly, moderately or frequently. In addition, the watch will distinguish these sounds from other noise from the environment, although it will not detect whether we or our partner are snoring.

It is a very useful option, but… paid. It turns out that using Snore & Noise Detect requires a paid Fitbit Premium subscription, which costs $ 10 a month. It is also worth bearing in mind that using this feature all night (continuous use of microphones) requires a lot of battery, so Fitbit recommends that the watch has at least 40% battery.
