Game Ready 497.29 WHQL, which is GTFO and Horizon Zero Dawn in the crosshair

Just before this year’s holidays, NVIDIA made sure to provide the best possible conditions for players to explore new titles. As part of the latest NVIDIA GeForce Game Ready 497.29 WHQL drivers, which are also available from the NVIDIA Experience level, the company has achieved a traditional package of changes and fixes.

By far the most important changes introduced by Game Ready 497.29 WHQL come down to the optimization of the new GTFO game, as well as the addition of DLSS technology to Horizon Zero Dawn, which improves liquidity by up to 50%. In addition, a number of games (new and old) have special profiles for optimal GeForce Experience settings, including:

  • Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition
  • Grand Theft Auto III
  • Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
  • Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
  • Chorus
  • Wartales
  • World of Warcraft: Shadowlands
  • EVE Online
  • The Elder Scrolls Online
  • Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition
  • Thunder Tier One

Additionally, NVIDIA has fixed bugs with Microsoft Flight Simulator, Supreme Command, and the use of multiple monitors. It also warns you about a known HDR issue in Deathloop and possible cursor problems after activating HDR and G-Sync from the Windows Control Panel. Image Scaling users should also watch out for two errors with sound reproduction and graphics.
