Mining with Nvidia 1030 – Second Opinon
As you can see, 2 devices are currently running.
The first device is the Intel core i5 9400F processor – a great mid-budget processor for work and play.
The second device is the Nvidia 1030 2GB graphics card itself.
Now let’s look at the profit per day. The statistics are not very subtle.
Nicehash informs us that on average $ 0.09 per day comes out.
The temperature is kept at around 51 degrees with the cooler turnover of 69%.
Now let’s see what is being mined and what hash we have.

Now let’s see how we are doing with mining on the processor.
As expected, XMRIG is launched and Monero is being mined.
- On average, we have a hash rate of 887 H / s (on the CPU).
Now let’s turn off the processor and see how much the card itself brings per day.
We see that the profit falls to $ 0.03 to a maximum of $ 0.04.
It turns out that the processor in this bundle is much more profitable than the 1030 video card.
Well, if you had a processor from AMD, for example, the AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (which costs about the same as our i5 9400F, then you would make even more profit!
Should you mine at 1030?
So is it worth mining on such a video card at all?
Only it makes no sense, of course!
In conjunction with the processor, you can think about it. If the processor is from AMD, then the profit will be higher, and there it reaches $ 0.2. Well, if you are satisfied with such a profit of $ 0.1, then of course, mine.
Collecting such a budget computer for the purpose of mining is a 100% failure mission.
This PC is great for work and low to medium games.
If you still plan to build a budget PC and you really want to remember on it, you will have to dig up and buy a slightly more powerful card.
It makes sense for Nvidia to think about mining only from a 1050TI card or older. But it is worthwhile to understand that there, too, the profit will not be large.
AMD with RX 470 – 570 cards will not have extra profit there either, but the cards themselves are quite budgetary, they are great for work and can handle almost all games!
