Therefore, this video card is the most budget gaming option with corresponding performance. The entire series of GeForce GTX 16 adapters is positioned as a simplified alternative to the more “advanced” GeForce RTX 20 series. Unlike the older line, the 16 series video cards lack special cores for hardware ray tracing.
The basis of the video accelerator is a graphics core marked TU117, made according to 12-nm standards. This GPU received 896 CUDA cores, 56 TMUs, and 32 ROPs. The clock speeds of the TU117 GPU are 1485-1665 MHz. The video memory card received the GDDR5 standard, 4 GB, connected via a 128-bit bus. Testing the GeForce GTX 1650 in games

Based on the results of gaming tests, we see that the new video card confidently outperforms not only its predecessor GeForce GTX 1050, but also its “big sister” GTX 1050 Ti. With medium and sometimes high graphics settings with FullHD resolution (1920×1080 px), you can play quite comfortably even in the most demanding projects. In principle, with reasonable overclocking, the new model is quite capable of competing with the three-gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060. And in those game projects where 3 GB of video memory is already not enough, it can even outperform it. A similar example can be seen in Assassin’s Creed Origins and Odyssey. In general, for a 128-bit video card, the performance indicator is very, very worthy.
In conclusion, it remains to be noted that at the start of sales, NVIDIA set the recommended price for the GeForce GTX 1650 at $149 or 11,990 rubles. At the same time, some partner models that have appeared on the shelves of Russian stores please with a more democratic price tag.
