Geforce RTX 3060 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti appear in quotes to Swedish dealers

In the large unveiling of the Geforce RTX 3000 series, Nvidia recently introduced the models RTX 3070, RTX 3080 and RTX 3090. These premiere the new architecture Ampere, which looks to lead to a substantial increase in capacity compared to its predecessor Turing. Rumors have previously circulated that another five to six models will be added in the future, these in the form of RTX 3050, RTX 3060, RTX 3060 Ti, RTX 3070 Super, RTX 3070 Ti and finally RTX 3080 Ti.

Sources at SweClockers now claim that the perhaps least mentioned model Geforce RTX 3060 Ti has been offered by one of the major PC manufacturers in what appears to be a final specification. The machines in question are also said to be affordable versus competing series. If the data turns out to be correct, this probably indicates that the Ti model will be available before a “regular” Geforce RTX 3060 model is launched.

The data is in line with Nvidia’s previous launch pattern, when the Geforce GTX 560 Ti was released a number of months before its simpler counterpart Geforce GTX 560. There are also examples of Ti cards that have never received a “regular” variant without a Ti suffix, such as Geforce GTX 550 Ti. As the specifications for the GeForce RTX 3060 are not yet known, it is impossible to predict exactly how a Ti model would be built.

What was presented in the offer SweClockers took note of specifies as 8 GB graphics memory of unknown type, but based on the current segmentation, it is probably GDDR6 accompanied by 4,352 to 5,120 CUDA cores. Sources at the retail level also confirm that quotes on computers with the notorious Geforce RTX 3070 Ti with 16 GB of graphics memory have begun to appear.

If all these rumors are true, it looks like it will be unusually crowded in the Geforce RTX 3000 series with the plethora of models mentioned.
