Earlier, Spiegel, citing its own information, reported that the German authorities were considering the nationalization of the refinery in Schwedt, possibly introducing a trusteeship.

“Let me not comment on this. You know that we have been working on the Schwedt theme for a long time. And this work will lead to results, when they appear, I will let you know,” Habek said.

According to Spiegel, several “possible options” for government involvement in the future of the refinery are currently being considered, including the transfer of the company to the state, as well as a trusteeship. All these options are legally possible, previously a similar solution was applied to the former subsidiary of Gaprom, Gazprom Germania.
