Germany suspends gas injection into largest underground storage facility


BERLIN, Sep 12 – PRIME. Fuel injection into Germany’s largest underground gas storage “Reden” will not be carried out until September 23 inclusive in connection with the planned work, according to a daily report from the German Federal Network Agency.

Gas prices in Europe fell below $2,000 per thousand cubic meters
“Repair work at the gas storage facility in Reden will be carried out until September 24. This is a planned measure,” the regulator said in a statement.
As noted, the injection of fuel into other UGS facilities of the country continues, the overall level of storage occupancy in Germany has reached 87.95 percent. At the same time, the occupancy of the storage in Reden is at the level of 74.06%.
