Gigabyte prepares RTX 3060 Ti graphics cards for October release

The EEC listing confirms rumors of an upcoming RTX 3060 Ti.

Gigabyte is preparing four GeForce RTX 3060 Ti video cards at once, according to the list of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).

On the list discovered by Twitter user @Komachi_Ensaka, there are four video cards based on SKU 3060: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB AORUS Master, GAMING OC, Eagle OC and Eagle.

We do not know much about the new graphics cards, but they are actively discussed in rumors, and Videocardz reports that the RTX 3060 Ti models from Gigabyte do not differ much from the already announced RTX 3070. However, according to the current data, video cards will require significantly less power – 180W versus 220W.

According to previous leaks, the RTX 3060 Ti will be similar to the RTX 3070. It will also be equipped with Ampere GA104 graphics chips (but with 4864 CUDA cores instead of 5888), it will also be equipped with 8GB of GDDR6 video memory on a 256-bit bus. Memory is likely to be limited to 14 GB / s, offering a maximum bandwidth of 448 GB / s.

Videocardz notes that retailers are already preparing pages for the Gigabyte RTX 3060 Ti on their store websites, indicating that sales will begin in the first half of October.

This information complements recent rumors that the RTX 3060 Ti will be officially announced next month, probably after the RTX 3070 launches on October 15th. This means the RTX 3060 Ti – or Super, as some suggest – will hit the market before the pure RTX 3060.

It remains to be seen if Nvidia will be able to offer enough RTX 3060 Ti graphics cards at launch. The RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 sold out within minutes, and buyers had to fight bots to break through a limited supply of graphics cards.
