Google Docs gained something called Smart chips. Just type “@” in the file and you will be presented with suggestions for files, meetings, contacts, as well as various content and formats that you can use in your work. This is the ability to add information from other Workspace applications such as Gmai, Sheets, Calendar and Slides. This is a very convenient option, without pasting and switching between tabs.
