Regarding the performance as a result of mining Zcash, the indicators were recorded slightly better – 300 Sol. Initially, the factory settings with the EWBF ZEC software were used. Do not hide, but the model 1070 showed results much higher – 400 Sol. And this is not the limit, it is possible to count on 450-460 Sol. It can be concluded that, using even 9 GB of memory, this will not affect the performance properly. Accordingly, for mining such an option is not as optimal as for a game activity. 

No less important is the price range, since the Nvidia GTX 1060 3 GB at 6 GB is an order of magnitude higher than the model 1070, some miners still tend to purchase the first option. 

How to reduce power consumption Nvidia GTX 1060 3 GB

Before you make the final choice, it is important to note that the expensive cost does not determine the high quality of the video card at all. Based on all the experiments, the best performance was shown by the Nvidia GTX 1060 3 GB. This is the most practical option, considering the ratio of the cost and characteristics of the hashrate. 

When considering the model 1070, you need to pay attention to the presence of eight-pin connector, which must be considered when purchasing a power supply. Accordingly, this may lead to additional financial costs, which is hardly suitable for novice miners who are only going to organize effective operations.
