Microsoft has optimized the boot cycle of the Windows 10 operating system so that the computer can turn on faster on any modern PC. In the following guide we will show you in detail how to access advanced options in Windows 10, so you can always restore the operating system in the event of a crash at startup, problems due to an update or a viral infection in progress, without having to format from scratch each time with an installation DVD (which on Windows 10 is quite superfluous, at least as long as the advanced startup works ).

Conclusions

Compared to older Microsoft systems Windows 10 is far more effective at tackling startup problems, thanks to the presence of an advanced options screen that can be booted in a clear and separate way from the main Windows files, so that you can always access it even in case of serious problems with a malware infection, a corrupt driver or a failed update . From this screen we can also restore Windows 10 to the initial settings or use the last known good configuration, exactly as we did once from the Windows 7 advanced options menu (where it was necessary to quickly press the F8 key to access the screen).
