How to cool Ryzen 7 5800X? ? Test of coolers from different price segments – We are studying several types of cooling from different segments in home use.
We recently looked at the need to pay extra for the top RAM and motherboard for the Ryzen 7 5800X processor. While comparing sets from completely different price categories, we noticed one unpleasant moment. And the processor is hot! In general, this problem was covered in the video about the Ryzen 5 5600X. There we compared it with the six-core of the previous generation at the same voltage, and found increased appetite for power consumption of the new microarchitecture.
Today, our goal will be to confirm or deny the fears by checking the processor temperatures in different usage conditions and with different cooling systems. Let’s start with the latter.
