Best overclocking settings for mining ETH with a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti LHR
Before you start mining Ethereum with the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti LHR, we recommend overclocking your graphics card to maximize its performance. However, it should be noted that overclocking should be used at your own risk! ViCadia.com assumes no obligation to overclock or tune your computer. You’ve been warned!
Before you start mining with RTX 3060 Ti LHR, please download the latest MSI Afterburner and HWiNFO64 first . To manually adjust the core clock, memory frequency and power limiting settings for your GPU, use MSI Afterburner. To closely monitor the core frequency and video memory temperature, we recommend using the HWiNFO64 tool. If you notice any strange behavior on your GPU, go back to the original settings right away!
In this tutorial, we used an ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 Ti OC graphics card (with Hynix memory). Below you can find the overclocking settings that worked best for us. These OC settings are not necessarily suitable for your card! Each AIB RTX 3060 Ti LHR model behaves slightly differently.
Here are the overclocking settings that worked best for our card:
- Set GPU core frequency to 1350 MHz (use MSI Afterburner Curve Editor or edit miner config file)
- Increase the memory frequency to +1050 MHz (via MSI Afterburner)
- Set the power limit to 100%
- Set the fan speed to Auto (you can also decrease it, but don’t go below 65% because the system will crash)
