But depending on the team and the system that we are using, the steps to place the script will depend. Let’s see the first one.

Utiliza Shift + _

La tecla shift is a modifier key used to write upper characters and uppercase letters. It is represented by an outlined arrow pointing upward.

The shift keys are located in two places on the same row of keys: at the beginning and at the end. This row is the one below the key. Caps Lock, which serves as a reference on the keyboard.

On Windows PC keyboards you can press the Shift key on the right, simultaneously with the slash key on its left side. But this is not the only way to place the underscore, it can also be done as follows:

Type ALT + ASCII code

We must first know what the ASCII code. This is a model or pattern for the representation of characters in an electronic device. The pattern has a fixed reference to printable characters (punctuation marks, letters and numbers) and non-printable characters (specific codes) that is translated and shows the character we are looking for.

Although it may seem a bit confusing to us, this is a means that helps us find or place elements on the keyboard that we cannot find at the moment. To place the underscore with the ASCII code you must press the Alt key and dial the number 45 in parallel and thus the desired script will appear.

If the device we are using is a laptop, there is also a method to place the underscore. First, we must press the ALT key. Without stopping pressing and using the numeric keyboard, we type the number 95.

You can also copy and paste

This is one of the easiest methods you can find for placing the underscore. What you should do is: if you are using your PC select what you need and press the Ctrl key and the C key, doing so will copy the selected words or characters.

Then, to paste what you have previously copied you must press the Ctrl key and the V key simultaneously. There is another way to do this.

This choice is also very simple, you just have to go to the Home section, where several options will be displayed, click on Copy. Doing so will copy what you have selected (be it a phrase or a character). Then you go to the place on the screen where you want the script to be and at the very beginning you select paste and that’s it.

Shift + –

On the PC keyboard you can press the Shift key at the same time as the underscore key. But if your keyboard is not in Spanish and does not have the Ñ key, you can press Shift and the key next to it. All these steps can be done if the problem is that your keyboard is locked.
