How to start advanced boot mode in Windows 11

Many times, your Windows system displays an error that may require troubleshooting through advanced startup mode or advanced startup options. Advanced startup options provide you with a list of advanced startup settings and recovery tools. This is especially useful when your PC just won’t start and that’s when you can access these options and troubleshoot or repair your computer using these options. You can also use these settings to troubleshoot other problems that occur before Windows starts.

Windows has many hidden options that can be useful in some situations. For example, you can start your PC in Safe Mode or access the start menu using some basic keyboard shortcuts. The Advanced Startup Options section is more complex and includes some commands that Windows users might not even know exist. Also, with the introduction of Windows 11, many users are stumped by the new features and settings. They have no idea how to start their systems in advanced boot mode in Windows 11 to fix any errors.

This post will show you how to launch advanced startup options when you need to troubleshoot any Windows 11 problem.

Method 1: using the advanced startup option in settings

This is one of the fastest and easiest ways to access Advanced Startup Options. However, this helps you troubleshoot when your PC turns on. Let’s see how to boot your Windows 11 PC in advanced mode:

Paso 1: press the Win + me keys together on your keyboard to start the Settings app.

Paso 2: At Settings window, click System on the left

Method 2: using the power menu

This method allows you to boot into advanced boot mode through the power menu and a key on the keyboard. Follow the instructions below:

Now, wait until your PC reboots into advanced startup mode.

Method 3: via command prompt

You can also enter advanced startup mode via elevated command prompt. Let’s see how:

Paso 1: press the Win + R keys together on your keyboard to start the Run command window.

Paso 2: At Run command window type cmd in the search bar and press the Ctrl + Shift + Enter keys simultaneously on your keyboard to open the Symbol of the system window in Admin mode.

Paso 3: On the high Symbol of the system window, run the following command and press Pay in:

shutdown /r /o /f /t 00

Method 4: through the automatic repair screen

Method 6: using the keyboard shortcut

In this method, you can access the advanced Start menu using shortcut keys. This is possible when your PC is on. Let’s see how:

Paso 1: press the Ctrl + Alt + Delete keys simultaneously on your keyboard to open the Windows 11 menu.

Paso 2: Then navigate to the bottom right of the screen.

Now press the Change and holding it down, click on the Can button and select Restart.

Your PC will now start to the Advanced Start screen.
