Huawei begins 2020 by announcing the arrival of ben four devices on the Italian market. And no, no smartphones on this tour. Three are laptops: Huawei Matebook X Pro 2019, Huawei Matebook D14 " is Matebook D 15 ". A market, that of laptops, in which the Chinese giant has entered quite recently but managed to establish itself soon, both in the high and medium range, precisely with the Matebook series: around these new devices a certain waiting.

The fourth product announced instead belongs to another category, that of wearables: it is Huawei Band 4 Pro, which we talk about in depth in dedicated article.

The company, in the words of Pier Giorgio Furcas, Deputy General Manager Huawei CBG Italy, expressed all satisfaction with the new additions to the catalog:

But let's see in more detail what it is, starting with more extreme proposal, that of Matebook X Pro, announced at MWC2019, Which due to the ban has only come now.

Matebook X Pro 2019 collects the legacy of the 2018 model: in the our review we told you about it as one of the best laptops on the market. The highlight, the element that immediately catches the eye, is always that: the fantastic 13.9-inch "Ultra FullView Display", With a 90% screen-to-body ratio and 3: 2 format (which is more comfortable for productivity, a bit like Microsoft's Surface machines), capable of supporting a 3K resolution (3000×2000) and the whole of the RGB color gamut.

The frames are, as mentioned, very thin. Therefore the retractable webcam is once again placed under a dedicated key on the keyboard. The "OneTouch" power button integrates the fingerprint reader for biometric identification of Windows Hello.

On the front of the ports we find a USB-A 3.0 and two USB-C, one of which is also Thunderbolt 3. And there is the 3.5mm headphone jack. All devices with EMUI 10 will be able to communicate with MateBook X Pro 2019. That will be available from the next weeks, informs Huawei, at the best consumer electronics stores and at the Huawei Experience Store from Milan. The only coloration available is that "Gray". High recommended price, in line with the characteristics of the product: 1699 euros.

MateBook D 14 " is D 15 " they share almost all the features, except of course for the screen size.

As regards the internal memory, Matebook D 14 "is equipped with a 512 GB SSD, while Matebook D 15 "presents a novelty, namely the 512GB ROM dual channel memory, equipped with two storage devices consisting of a solid state disk and a hard disk (with G-Sensor technology to protect the hard disk from accidental knocks and falls).

The amount of RAM instead is identical for both models, and is of 8GB, the same as Matebook X Pro.

The screen it's a "FULLVIEW"with very thin frames on three sides (the lateral and upper ones measure 4.8 and 5.3 mm respectively), and in this case the webcam is also retractable, integrated under the keyboard. The screen-to-body ratio is 84% ​​for the 14-inch model, and 87% for the 15-inch model. "OneTouch" power button which complements the sensor for reading fingerprints, and especially fast charging.
