MOSCOW, 8 Sep — PRIME. Gazprom is supplying gas through Ukraine in the volume confirmed by the Ukrainian side to the Sudzha GIS – 42.4 million cubic meters as of September 8, the application for the Sokhranovka GIS has been rejected, the company’s official representative Sergey Kupriyanov said.
Exchange gas prices in Europe fall on Thursday morning
Ukraine stopped accepting gas for transit through the GIS “Sokhranivka” from May 11, indicating that the facility is under the control of Russian forces (on the territory of the LPR). As a result, only one entrance remained for gas transit to Europe – the Sudzha GIS. Gazprom stated that transferring all volumes to Sudzha is technologically impossible, the company fulfills all obligations to European consumers, and transit services are fully paid.
