In Russia officially allowed to hold ICO

Russian Deputy Finance Minister Alexei Moiseev said that it is planned to develop regulatory standards for conducting primary token offers (ICO) in the Russian Federation.

“No one is going to ban. A large number of businesses ask when it will finally be possible to legally conduct an ICO transparently. This will surely be regulated – it is allowed, and that’s all, ”stressed the Deputy Minister of Finance of Russia.

At the same time, he once again expressed his intention to give cryptocurrencies the same rights as those of foreign currencies. That is, trading in digital assets in Russia can be legalized, and it will not be possible to pay in cryptocurrencies for goods and services.

“Our national currency is the ruble, so all settlements in the country should be carried out only in rubles,” said Moses.

He also noted that the Libra cryptocurrency, which is being developed by the social network Facebook, is not planned to be separately regulated.
