Such a giant as Nvidia immediately felt the influx of unprecedented demand for its products and the righteous anger of those users who collected powerful hardware not for mining at all. Prices for the 30 series GeForce RTX video cards have made the same xes as bitcoin did recently. Of course, many would like to expand this inequality, but, unfortunately, this is the only option. Under certain market conditions, this approach can significantly increase profits. But not every video card will be able to mine the given pairs of coins, a lot depends on the technical characteristics. For example, Ethereum and Ravencoin need at least 10 GB of VRAM, so the 3060 Ti is not available.

- MSI – LHR is marked in the name or SKU of the product (for example – 3070 GAMING TRIO PLUS 8G LHR) just like ZOTAC
- EVGA – LHR is marked as “KL” in the product name or SKU (for example – 8GB GDDR6 08G-P4-3080-KL)
- GIGABYTE – LHR is marked as ver. 2 or higher
- ZOTAC -LHR is marked in the name or SKU (for example – RTX 3080 Trinity LHR or ZT-A30800D-10PLHR)
How to Maximize LHR 3060, 3070, 3080: Some subtleties
Considering the data of the video card after bypassing the LHR, it is important to note that these figures are slightly averaged and the same RTX 3070 ti can show both 65 megahash and, as already mentioned, 70 megahash. It is also worth paying attention to power consumption. Some models are characterized by increased power consumption after installing NBMiner compared to video cards that do not have a hardware limitation in the form of LHR. But literally the next day, as it was possible to bypass the hashrate restrictions, the prices for video cards jumped by as much as 20%! That’s where the dedicated Nvidia fans are.
For the full-fledged operation of the farms, stay tuned for driver updates – the same NBminer may not squeeze out the full potential of the existing equipment. It should also be noted that the ongoing tests of video cards and their hashrate were naturally carried out with a monitor in order to measure consumption. So with some manipulations, it is possible to increase profits compared to what is expected based on the data presented.
Of all the tested video cards, perhaps the most interesting is the GeForce 3080 ti lhr. Devices of this series with a limiter, with the proper approach, can squeeze out approximate values in MX / s to a series without Late Hash Rate. But here it is just the same important not to lose sight of the increased power consumption that occurs when working through NBminer. After installing all the necessary software and further configuration, the 3080 ti lhr graphics card is capable of squeezing 85 MX / s at a consumption of 388 watts. These are excellent indicators compared to what it was before the release of NBminer. In fact, we have come close to a hash rate that is possible without any hardware limitations, but still has to work, work, work.
