Intel hired a longtime specialist from the AMD graphics department
According to a CRN article, Intel hired Vineet Goel, the former vice president of AMD’s GPU Architecture, Graphics, Machine Learning, and Mobile Platform. Will be joined, among others to Raj Koduri, with whom the stealing of graphics engineers from AMD to Intel began a few years ago.

Goel spent the last five years at AMD and previously was the director of GPU Computing and Adreno Architecture at Qualcomm. At Intel, he will be vice president and general manager of GPU Architecture and IP Engineering.
