Six months later, on January 23 exactly, the two men finally met during a long dinner at the Happy Hollow Club in Omaha, Nebraska.

The 29-year-old Chinese entrepreneur was accompanied by several figures from the cryptocurrency industry. Present at the table: Charlie Lee, creator of Litecoin, Chris Lee, chief financial officer of Huobi, Yoni Assia, CEO of eToro and Helen Hai, head of the Binance Charity Foundation.

After dinner, Buffett, who once compared Bitcoin to "rat dead", received numerous gifts, including a Samsung smartphone containing a bitcoin as well as almost 2 million pieces TRX.
Sun also said it plans to join the charity initiative The Giving Pledge launched in 2010 by Buffett and which already has two crypto-billionaires.
