The “privacy policy” that we often see for approval in various applications or websites is one of those things that we accept without reading. This is obviously a mistake, because then we have no idea what is happening with our data. However, it often happens that the privacy policy is formulated in such a way that we do not fully understand what we are reading.
So Meta decided to update its privacy policy not with new ways of collecting, using or sharing user data, but with clearer content. The whole thing is to be formulated in such a way that the user who reads it can learn in more detail and understand how Meta uses his data.
The changes will take effect on July 26 and will apply to all of the company’s products, such as Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp and Instagram.
