MOSCOW, 15 Oct – PRIME. The American portal Axios announced the intention of the US Federal Communications Commission to ban the sale of new gadgets by Chinese companies Huawei and ZTE in the country, Moskovsky Komsomolets writes.
Chinese chip makers accuse US of trade discrimination
Washington has previously restricted the supply of semiconductors and equipment for the production of microcircuits to China.
It is noted that a bill to ban the import of Chinese devices is already being worked out. After the entry into force, the restriction will have an official character. At the same time, it is allowed to sell and use the already delivered equipment, the publication explains.
According to the newspaper, the project includes products from Huawei and ZTE, as well as Hytera Communications Corporation, Hikvision and Dahua Technology Company.
