It seems that the foldable Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 is getting closer to the premiere, because there are only more leaks about it. This time we learned more about the display and the chipset.
What do we know about Xiaomi MIX Fold 2?
The first foldable Xiaomi smartphone made its debut in the first quarter of last year, so it’s no wonder that when competition arrives on the market, the company is preparing another model. There are more and more leaks about it, and now the known leakster Digital Chat Station has revealed more details. And although it does not mention that it is exactly this model, the size of the screen itself clearly indicates it.
This time we learn that MIX Fold 2 will be equipped with an 8-inch LTPO display offering 2.5K resolution. After unfolding, it will actually be a tablet with a large working space. For comparison – Galaxy Z Fold3 has a screen size of 7.6 inches. Previous reports indicated that both the internal and external screens of the new Xiaomi foldable will offer a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The device will be powered by the latest Qualcomm processor, i.e. Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. It is no wonder, most manufacturers decide on this chipset when releasing flagships.
