Although we had already seen some tests of the Intel Core i5-10400, now there are even more tests that compare it against the i5-9400, confirming that we will have great performance increases thanks to the implementation of Hyperthreading and increased frequencies.
Despite the fact that the source has captures of all the tests, we decided to only place this table that gathers all the results and facilitates the comparison between the two CPUs. ANDn single-core, the differences are not that big, peaking at 8.77% on Cinebench R15. However, in multi-core we see twice differences above 45%, in CPU-Z Bench and Cinebench R15, showing large performance increases in this regard.
The price of this chip makes it quite interesting, and even more interesting is the Core i5-10400F, which has the same performance and costs less than a Ryzen 5 3600, so there will be quite interesting competition in that segment. We will have to see more tests and comparisons when the NDA is finished, although for now the initial impression is quite good.
What do you think about these performance numbers of the Intel Core i5-10400? Do you find it an interesting model?
