MSI Afterburner is a program for improving the performance of graphics accelerators and optimizing their cooling. Displays information about the hardware shell of the computer.

User interface

Core chip undervolting
The application supports undervolting (undervolting) voltage reduction. Lowering the voltage and current of the core of the video card helps to reduce the heating of the device chip, the noise of the coolers of the cooling system. In an analytical form, Afterburner displays: the current frequencies of the memory and core, its temperatures, voltages, in a graphical form – much more.
Undervolting is the reverse process of overclocking. It reduces the power consumption of the graphics adapter, with it – its performance. But the video card memory continues to work in the specified parameters.

Installation instructions
- Run the resulting file, when prompted by UAC, click “Yes”.
- Select the interface language.
- In the next window, click “Next”, then read the terms of use for the application and accept them.
Terms of agreement. RivaTuner Statistic Server is needed to display fps in overlay and video recording from the screen. - Decide on the components to be installed (you do not need to download additional ones).
Installing RivaTuner Statistical Server. - If necessary, change the directory for extracting files, then click “Install”.
Selecting the installation folder. If you chose RivaTuner Statistic Server, follow the same steps as for Afterburner deployment. - The program is launched from the installer window.
Program deployment. - If you are prompted to restart, do not ignore it, or restart your computer before launching the application.
Completion of installation. - After installation, a mandatory reboot is required.

After calling the Afterburner, you can drag the unlocked sliders to lower or raise values. By clicking on the profile icon at the bottom right, save the settings to a memory location. To quickly apply, left-click on them, to remove – right-click.
